it is your ecto brother! i miss you a lot. even before finding out we were siblings, talking to you was the best. it meant a lot to me when you pestered me for the first time allllllll the way back then, because i was kind of a lonely kid! but you are so easy to get along with and impressive and electric. i want you to know that.

wherever you are, i hope you are happy. you deserve to have tons of fun and be surrounded by friends and family as much as you like, and i would beat up *so* many guys to make sure that happens.

please take care of yourself, and be kind to yourself. i will always be here for you if you need me, both as your brother and one of your best friends. you deserve the world! hehe.

hi, it’s john. you would totally pick at my psyche for this, but i miss you a lot. i hope you know how much i look up to you. i have ever since we were kids. i know you are capable of anything you put your mind to.

but you already know that! so more importantly, you’re one of my best friends in the world, okay? you always will be and there is nothing you can do to change that! this is *especially* true when you are feeling down, so don’t go closing yourself off! i will always be here for you, whenever you need me.

p.s. please don’t try to hold the burdens of the world on your shoulders. to me you have always just been my kind of nerdy, verbose but super funny, eldritch horror-liking best friend. you don’t need to be perfect and composed, all you need to be is yourself.
